This video presents a recap of the CPC Delegation on Food and Agriculture Education in Japan. Held from June 1st to 5th in Osaka and Kyoto, the delegation consisted of six representatives, including Agriculture and Food Agency (AFA) officials and China Productivity Center (CPC) staff. The five-day itinerary focused on four major dimensions:
💠Government and Private Sector Shokuiku Promotion: Japan regularly updates its plans under the Basic Act on Food Education, recently integrating SDGs to advance sustainable and digital food education.
💠Local Practice Case Studies: The visits to Uji’s staff canteen and Kameoka’s Red Bean Village demonstrated the spirit of "local production and processing" through mechanization and hands-on activities.
💠Private Sector Operations: Exploring the professional Food Education Instructor services at Aisai Land and the innovative urban farm-supermarket hybrid model of Kyoto Yaoichi Honkan.
💠Exhibition and Interactive Design: Analyzing how museums in Kyoto and Osaka leverage interactive facilities, lifestyle displays, and cooking classes to engage all ages in food education.
